History

1968	Kashima Chemical established as a joint venture of Asahi Denka Kogyo (currently ADEKA Corporation) and Asahi Glass.
1970	Started commercial production of ECH (Epichlorohydrin) and ALC (Allyl Chloride).
1972	Mitsubishi Petrochemical (currently Mitsubishi Chemical) and Mitsubishi Corporation made an equity investment in the company.
1988	Started a specialty chemicals business, beginning with the mass production of 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol.
2000	Registered with ISO9002/1994 (migrated to ISO9001/2015 as of 2018)
2012	Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. took over the business of ADEKA Corporation.
2018	Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. changed its name to AGC Inc.
2018	Celebrated our 50th anniversary
